Want to combine time away with yoga, relaxation and the chance to discover somewhere new? A yoga holiday gives you dedicated time on the mat, with plenty of free time to relax and recharge between sessions.
In partnership with MOONSyoga our yoga holidays combine twice-daily yoga sessions with time to enjoy your destination at your own pace. So, what can you expect when you join us?
What Are the Benefits of a Yoga Holiday?

Having time to focus on your practice without rushing back to everyday life gives you the opportunity to develop your technique, work on your poses and learn more about the connection between movement, breath and mindfulness.
Sinead from MOONSyoga, who often leads our yoga holidays explains:
“The benefit is the education you take away with you off the mat, going home to your local studio with a better awareness and knowledge of the poses and alignments. My objective is to truly inspire through the practice of Yoga, building trust and rapport on and off the mat. I like to guide through an exploration of the connection between body, breath and mind meaning you get to sweat but most importantly laugh and have fun along the way.”
Where Can You Take a Yoga Holiday in Europe?

Portugal’s Algarve gives you sunshine, beaches and plenty of space to slow things down. On our Algarve Yoga Holiday, you’ll be based near Tavira, with twice-daily yoga sessions and free time in between. Head out for a coastal walk, try surfing, rent a bike or simply take it easy.
You can also take your practice to the shores of the Adriatic on our Croatia Yoga Holiday. Mornings and evenings are dedicated to yoga, including sessions such as Slow Flow Stretch and grounding meditation, while your afternoons are free to discover the local area or relax by the coast.
Can Beginners Join a Yoga Holiday?

Yes. You don't need to be an experienced yogi to join one of our yoga holidays. Beginners are welcome, although we recommend attending some yoga classes before you travel so you’re familiar with the basics and can get the most out of your time away.
If you already have more yoga experience, variations of poses are offered during each practice, so you can work at a level that suits you.
What Are the Yoga Sessions Like?

There are two yoga sessions each day, with morning and evening practices offering something a little different.
Morning sessions focus on waking up the body and getting your energy flowing. Classes build gradually into Hatha Vinyasa sequences incorporating breathwork, mindfulness, balancing, lengthening and strength-building poses before finishing with a releasing stretch and savasana.
Evening sessions take a more focused approach, with practices centred on different areas of the body or particular techniques. You might work on hip openers, shoulders and arms, twists or other poses before slowing things down with a cool-down sequence and time to relax.
